Clemson beat Ohio State 29-23 in the Fiesta Bowl.
The Buckeyes, after the game, were devastated. They were so close to ending the Tigers’ seemingly 800-game winning streak and advancing to play LSU for the National Championship.
But, they lost. Why? Many blame the refs.
Many blame them for multiple calls made throughout the game, but the Clemson fumble that would have been an Ohio State touchdown — that eventually got overturned to be an incomplete pass — topped them all.

Looks like a catch and a fumble, no? That’s what many thought. That’s what it was called on the field. But again, the referees overturned it.
It turned into a simple Clemson incompletion.
And recently, a shirt — licensed by Clemson — adds a bit more salt to Ohio State’s wound:
