Alabama quarterback and former Heisman Trophy finalist Tua Tagovailoa has set a decision date for his future.

Following Alabama’s 35-16 win over Michigan in the Citrus Bowl on New Year’s Day, Tagovailoa tweeted out that he still hasn’t made a decision about returning to Tuscaloosa or declaring for the NFL Draft. However, the quarterback did say he will make his decision in a few days.

“I’ll be making my decision on [January] 6th,” Tagovailoa said. “God bless and Roll Tide.”

Tagovailoa threw for 2,840 yards, 33 touchdowns and just three interceptions while completing 71.4 percent of his passes. He was firmly in the Heisman conversation until suffering a season-ending injury against Mississippi State on Nov. 16.

Alabama would be the favorite to win the national title, and Tagovailoa would again be in the Heisman conversation if he decides to return. He’s also expected to be a high draft pick, considering his talent level.

All eyes will be locked in on the Alabama quarterback in a few days.
