Maurice Washington last appeared in a game at Nebraska on Oct. 12 against Minnesota. The team had a bye the weekend afterwards and Washington’s 2019 season concluded then.

Husker coach Scott Frost said he wanted to meet with Washington on Dec. 19 to “try to come to a little resolution on what is going to happen.”
The meeting — if it did happen — didn’t seem to go Washington’s way. The tailback from Stockton, California is still facing two criminal charges in a California court involving a sexually explicit video.
