Another 16-0 lead got dismantled when the Bills lost to the Texans and social media piled on Buffalo for it

Ohio State led Clemson 16-0 in the Fiesta Bowl just a week ago. Then, the Buckeyes went on to lose 29-23. It blew the 16-point lead and it seemed like the world was ending in Columbus.

That was the highly-anticipated College Football Playoff semifinal game.

Fast forward one week and the Buffalo Bills led the Houston Texans 16-0 with just 2:00 left in the third quarter. Then, the magic started happening for the team down two full scores and two separate two-point conversions.

Again.

The Texans first scored a touchdown and got the two-point conversion late in the third quarter and then added another field goal to make it 16-11 after a Buffalo turnover. The Texans would then score a touchdown and convert yet another two-point conversion to make it 19-16.

At one point, Bills quarterback Josh Allen attempted a lateral when trailing by three:

The Bills, to give them credit, did get a game-tying field goal at the end of the fourth quarter to bring the game to overtime tied at 19.

But then, overtime happened. The Texans got the ball first and the Bills got a stop. It looked like Buffalo could avoid disaster after all.

But after a massive blindside block penalty, the Bills had to punt the ball back. Houston was then led by former Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson down the field and the Texans kicked a game-winning field goal to advance Houston, winning, 22-19.

Here are some reactions from social media on a 16-0 lead — especially against a current (or former) Clemson QB seemingly never being safe:
