Cassius Winston put another statement in the neverending rivalry between Michigan State and Michigan.

In a battle of top-15 teams, the No. 14 Spartans hosted the No. 12 Wolverines in another highly-anticipated showdown between rivals in the Breslin Center. Fortunately, Winston saved his best game of the season for Michigan State’s heated rival.

The star point guard for the Spartans was everywhere and did a little bit of everything against the Wolverines. He finished with 32 points, a new career-high as Michigan State upset Michigan in front of a raucous home crowd. That eclipses his previous career-high of 29.

To round out his performance, Winston dished nine assists while shooting 11-for-19 from the field and 8-for-11 from the free-throw line.

Sunday marked the fourth straight game of at least 21 points for Winston. Michigan State has also won seven straight since the loss to Duke.
