Oklahoma’s quarterbacks have been absolutely dominant these past few years. Baker Mayfield? Heisman winner. Kyler Murray? Heisman winner.
Jalen Hurts? Finished second in Heisman voting. Both Mayfield and Murray became No. 1 NFL Draft picks, too. Lincoln Riley has the Sooners’ offense rolling and it’s because of the work that he does with his quarterbacks.

Who’s next in line? It appears as though Spencer Rattler, who was a freshman this past year — sitting behind Hurts — could be that guy in 2020. Rattler, according to 247Sports Composite rankings, was the No. 11 overall player and No. 1 QB in the Class of 2019.
It seems as though that Riley and Rattler could be taking the college football world by storm as soon as next year.
And, in case you haven’t seen Rattler throw a football before, take a look at this jump-pass he threw when just messing around:

Not only did he throw a perfect jump-pass, but it was a jump-pass that seemed to go about 20 yards to the corner of the end zone. Will we see this next season from Rattler and the Sooners?
Maybe. But regardless, if you’re a defensive coordinator facing Oklahoma next season, this is something you should at least show your defense.
