Jaylen Johnson is a 6-foot-1, 205-pound safety in the Class of 2021. According to 247Sports Composite rankings, Johnson is a 3-star prospect, ranking as the No. 18 safety in his class.

Despite not receiving all the accolades from a “star” perspective, he currently holds scholarship offers from Ohio State, Penn State and others. On Tuesday, he made his decision on where he would like to attend school in 2021:

Johnson, from Cincinnati, Ohio, is now the seventh prospect to verbally commit to Ohio State. It is a rather impressive Buckeye class already — even though it’s for 2021 — as it ranks No. 1 nationally as of Tuesday, Jan. 7.
