An already busy offseason for Wisconsin just got a bit busier with Wednesday’s report that wide receiver Aron Cruickshank has hit the transfer portal.
The sophomore speedster primarily served as the kickoff return specialist for the Badgers each of the past two seasons. His biggest highlight undoubtedly came when he returned a kick all the way for a touchdown in the Rose Bowl.

The Badgers are already losing All-American running back and leading rushing Jonathan Taylor, All-American center Tyler Biadasz, and leading receiver Quintez Cephus to the NFL Draft. Now that Cruickshank has hit the portal, there is the threat of losing another key piece from the 2019 B1G West champions.
In 2019, Cruickshank posted 674 kick return yards with two touchdowns while averaging almost 30 yards per return. He chipped in 167 yards from scrimmage with the offense, both as a rusher and receiver.
