Sports talk shows are great. There’s plenty to love about them. With that, there are some shows that don’t do everything perfectly well.
Then again, what show does?
For Paul Finebaum, one of the aspects of his show involves guest callers. Now, sometimes this involves Finebaum greatly in terms of its effectiveness on a day-to-day basis, but often times it’s up to the caller. Are you informed and make an interesting point/pose a legitimate question?
Great. If not, it can go poorly rather quickly.

On Finebaum’s show Thursday, he had a caller call in and who knows how it was going to go. Well, here it is in its just over a minute entirety:

Apparently the caller was hungry. Which, whatever. And, apparently he was at Arby’s. I love their curly fries as much as the next person. No problem there.
But I wouldn’t tell my order to Finebaum. Finebaum’s more interested in a point being made or question revolving around sports — not food. And it seems as though Finebaum isn’t extremely well-versed with what Arby’s has to offer. The confusion on his face was priceless.
In the end, this was hilarious, as it was an obvious accident from the caller. I wonder if he knows he actually got through to talk to Finebaum?
Regardless, those curly fries are sounding good right about now.
