The College Football Playoff National Championship is finally just about here.

With the semifinal matchups nearly two weeks behind us, we are just about ready for what is shaping up to be an epic championship game matchup. This time around, it will be LSU and Clemson facing off in New Orleans.

A lot has been said about the matchup, and the time has come to begin making predictions for the game. That’s what the FOX CFB crew did recently. Urban Meyer started, and he went with LSU in a two-score win:

“This is a QB driven game,” explained Meyer. “I think LSU takes the lead early, I think Trevor Lawrence brings Clemson back with his legs, not necessarily his arm, but I think LSU pulls it out 42-28.”

Matt Leinart was the only one in the group to actually go with Dabo Swinney’s Clemson Tigers:

“I am going Clemson to pull the upset…you cannot teach a Championship mindset…Clemson, 42-41,” said Leinart.

For Bruce Feldman and Joel Klatt, they both went in favor of LSU, but they differed on the score differential. Feldman is expecting a much tighter score while Klatt also predicted a two-score game similar to Meyer.

Here’s the full segment of their predictions:
