Penn State is losing some depth along its offensive line this offseason.

Monday evening, reserve offensive lineman Hunter Kelly announced via Twitter that he has entered his name in the NCAA transfer portal and will be pursuing options elsewhere. He will have one more season of eligibility remaining, after spending four years at Penn State.

“Since I have one more year of eligibility remaining, I am entering the transfer portal to look for a school that I can bring my passion for football to for one more year,” Kelly said. “I have much more to prove.”

During his four seasons at Penn State, Kelly did not see much time on the field, appearing in just one contest — with that game coming in 2019. Per his player profile on GoPSUSports.com, Kelly was a two-time Academic All-B1G selection (2017-2018).

Kelly did not mention any potential destinations in his Twitter message announcing his decision. As a graduate transfer, he will have immediate eligibility wherever he lands.
