It’s pretty early to start making predictions about which players will be All-Americans for the 2020 season. But with such a long season ahead, it’s always fun to do a little speculation.

ESPN’s Chris Low recently came up with a way-too-early list of players he expects to be All-Americans for the 2020 college football season. There weren’t an overwhelming number of B1G players to make the cut, but Low did include two players from Ohio State and Penn State on his list.

From Ohio State, Low pegged cornerback Shaun Wade and offensive lineman Wyatt Davis as All-Americans for the 2020 season. Out of Penn State, linebacker Micah Parsons and tight end Pat Freiermuth were included.

Wade opted to return to Ohio State following the 2019 season for another year in Columbus. Wade finished last season with eight pass break-ups and an interception to go along with 25 stops, including four tackles for loss. Davis has appeared in 20 games over the last two seasons for the Buckeyes on the offensive line, including 13 last fall.

Parsons is regarded as one of the top linebackers returning to the field next year. He totaled 109 tackles, 14 for loss, five pass break-ups and forced four fumbles during his sophomore campaign. Parsons racked up 14 stops, three tackles for loss and forced two fumbles in Penn State’s win over Memphis in the Cotton Bowl.

Freiermuth may be the best tight end in the nation next season. It was a bit of a surprise that he decided to return for the 2020 season. Last fall, he caught 43 passes for 507 yards and seven touchdowns.
