Seven B1G commits have been given a 5-star ranking by 247Sports, including four Ohio State pledges

Seven players with a five-star ranking in the 2020 class will be in the B1G for the 2020 season.
On Tuesday, 247Sports went through the process of releasing its latest five-star prospects for the 2020 recruiting cycle after re-ranking players. Four of those players will be headed to Ohio State, with Penn State, Wisconsin and Northwestern each stealing one, as well.
Alabama quarterback commit Bryce Young was ranked as the No. 1 overall player of the 2020 class. The seven B1G five-star commits were all inside the top 30 of the 32-player list.
Here’s a look at where those players ranked, based on 247Sports’ new rankings (along with school):
- No. 4: Julian Fleming, WR (Ohio State)
- No. 8: Paris Johnson Jr., OT (Ohio State)
- No. 15: Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR (Ohio State)
- No. 24: Curtis Jacobs, LB (Penn State)
- No. 26: Jack Nelson, OT (Wisconsin)
- No. 27: Peter Skoronski, OC (Northwestern)
- No. 29: CJ Stroud, QB (Ohio State)
