It always helps to have a riled up fanbase for a big rivalry game. Thanks to Jon Teske, Michigan fans inside Crisler Center got a little extra rowdy after a big-time alley-oop in the second half.
About midway through the second half, Michigan was able to turn a missed three-point shot from Kyle Ahrens into two fast-break points. With Eli Brooks pushing the ball up the floor, he was able to hit Teske in stride, who powered home a one-handed slam.
That play gave the Wolverines a six-point lead in a tight ball game, forcing Michigan State to call timeout.

Michigan has been struggling on the hardwood as of late, so a win over Michigan State would certainly be a nice resume booster for the Wolverines. We’ll see if that big play was enough to spark Michigan to a big home victory.
