Drew Brees will be wearing an NFL uniform for at least one more season.

On Tuesday, Brees took to his Instagram account to say he’ll return to the New Orleans Saints for the 2020 season. The upcoming season will mark the 20th season in the NFL for the former Purdue star. ESPN’s Adam Schefter shared Brees’ message on Instagram, announcing his return.

“My feelings about the 2020 season,” Brees wrote on Instagram. “I look forward to the grind and the journey, for the reward at the end will be worth it! Love you #WhoDatNation. Let’s make another run at it!”

Brees, 41, has rewritten the NFL record books during his career. He currently owns records for career passing yardage, career pass completions and career touchdown passes. He’s a 13-time Pro Bowl selection and a Super Bowl champion and Super Bowl MVP.

Last season, the Saints finished the regular season 13-3 and were defeated by the Minnesota Vikings in the NFL Playoffs.
