Two Nebraska football players will be joining the basketball team in Indianapolis this week for the B1G Tournament.

Tuesday, head coach Fred Hoiberg announced that quarterback Noah Vedral and offensive lineman Brant Banks are joining the roster. They will be with the team in Indianapolis on Wednesday and will be available to play.

Nebraska (No. 14 seed) will play Indiana (No. 11) in the second game on Wednesday, the opening day of the B1G Tournament.

Banks is 6-foot-7, 300 pounds and would likely play in the post. Vedral is listed at 6-foot-1, 200 pounds with good athleticism.

After finishing last in the B1G regular season standings, the Huskers really have nothing to lose. It would be a lot of fun to see those two get some minutes on Wednesday.
