Ryan Day’s success on the recruiting trail continue, this time it comes in the form of one of the top running backs in the 2021 class.
Monday evening, four-star running back Evan Pryor announced via Twitter his decision to commit to Ohio State. He becomes the 13th player in the recruiting cycle to pledge to the Buckeyes.

Pryor is a huge addition for Ohio State’s 2021 class. Pryor is a native of Cornelius, N.C., and held offers from 34 programs. He chose Ohio State over Georgia, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Penn State and several other programs.
According to 247Sports, Pryor is listed as a 5-foot-10, 190-pound ball carrier. He’s ranked as the No. 6 running back of his class and is the fourth-best player from North Carolina. Overall, Pryor cracks the top 100 players, coming in at No. 85.
The Buckeyes’ 2021 recruiting class currently ranks No. 1 nationally, per 247Sports’ Composite rankings.
