As of right now, the 2020 NFL Draft is scheduled to continue in late April. While the show won’t be hosted in Las Vegas and it’s likely to turn into a studio production, names are still expected to be called from April 23-25.
Now that the draft is just a month away and with the NFL Scouting Combine over and pro days canceled, ESPN NFL Draft expert Mel Kiper Jr. has released his latest mock draft. Seven B1G names are included as first-round projections, with three players in the top eight.
Kiper’s list includes two players from Ohio State and Iowa, and one player from Minnesota, Penn State and Michigan. Below are the B1G names Kiper included in his first-round mock draft.
- No. 2: Chase Young, DE, Ohio State — Washington Redskins
- No. 3: Jeff Okudah, CB, Ohio State — Detroit Lions
- No. 8: Tristan Wirfs, OT, Iowa — Arizona Cardinals
- No. 20: Antoine Winfield Jr., Minnesota — Jacksonville Jaguars
- No. 25: A.J. Epenesa, DE, Iowa — Minnesota Vikings
