Report: Vonn Bell agrees to new NFL deal, will be returning to Ohio

Vonn Bell is returning to the state where it all started.
On Wednesday, Ian Rapoport reported that Bell has agreed a new three-year deal with the Cincinnati Bengals. Bell spent his first four NFL seasons with the New Orleans Saints, after being drafted by the organization in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He was selected No. 61 overall.
Rapoport did not include what the new contract was worth in his tweet regarding Bell. The safety was considered one of the top free agents to become available at his position during the 2020 offseason.

In his four-year NFL career with the Saints, Bell has notched 345 tackles, eight sacks and forced and recovered seven fumbles. He’s also recorded one interception and scored one defensive touchdown.
Last season, Bell made 13 starts for New Orleans, totaling 86 tackles, five fumble recoveries and forcing two fumbles. He also caught his first career interception in the NFL in 2019.
Before becoming a star in the NFL, Bell was a member of Ohio State’s 2014 national championship team. The following season, he received first-team All-B1G and All-American honors.
