Chris Spielman’s B1G Championship ring from Ohio State’s 1984 season sells for big money, with proceeds helping those affected by COVID-19

Chris Spielman is doing his part to make a huge difference during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
This week, the former Ohio State and NFL linebacker decided to auction off his 1984 B1G Championship ring, donating all the proceeds to those affected by the pandemic. On Saturday, Spielman announced that the ring sold at auction for $12,000.
It’s just one item that Spielman is auctioning off, as he hopes to raise $40,000 in the coming days and weeks. His goal is to give away $1,000 for 40 weeks in order to help those who have been most affected by the virus.
“Ring went for 12,000! Humbled beyond words,” Spielman wrote on Twitter. “Thank you for showing amazing generosity only $21,231.10 to go.”

According to Eleven Warriors, Spielman has also sold an autographed, game-worn Buffalo Bills jersey for $1,125 and his 1994 All-Madden Team leather jacket for $2,565.
Right now, Spielman is auctioning off an autographed, game-worn Detriot Lions jersey and pants set, along with a 1994 Pro Bowl watch.
