A busy weekend on the recruiting front has trickled into the work week for Minnesota.

The Golden Gophers received a pledge from three-star cornerback Tamarion Crumpley on Monday, becoming the 11th player to commit to the program in the 2021 recruiting cycle. He’s also the fourth player in the past five days to join the class.

Crumpley made his announcement on Twitter.

“Thank you to the coaches who recruited me through this process,” Crumpley wrote in a message on Twitter. “With that being said I’ll be committing to the University of Minnesota. RTB!!”

According to 247Sports, Crumpley is a 6-foot, 175-pound cornerback out of Cincinnati, Ohio. He’s listed as the No. 91 player at his position and the 35th-ranked prospect out of Ohio.

Crumpley picked Minnesota over offers from 15 other programs. He received interest from Maryland, Michigan State, Cincinnati, Kentucky, Kansas, Wake Forest, Pitt and Boston College.

With Crumpley’s commitment, Minnesota’s 2021 recruiting class now ranks ninth nationally and third in the B1G. He’s the third defensive back to commit to the Gophers.
