Michigan’s football team makes the trek to Columbus once every other year to occupy the field at Ohio Stadium. For most Wolverine players, fans and alumni, that’s more than enough time in enemy territory.
But two members of Michigan’s football team are spending a little more time near Ohio Stadium this spring, using turf fields near the venue to get in some workouts while spring practices have been canceled. Joey Velazquez and Erik All, both Ohio natives, were in a video getting some reps in near Ohio State’s Stadium this week.
Wisconsin defensive lineman Rodas Johnson also participated in the training workouts.

Some Ohio State fans did not take too kindly to seeing Wolverines invade Columbus, even though they’re in their home state. One account on Twitter shared the video with the comment “Get your ass off of our field.”
All responded to the tweet with one of his own, replying “We’ll be there [tomorrow] too come take us off.” That’s when current Ohio State cornerback Cameron Brown chimed in “what time?”
It’s unclear if Brown was asking about the time in order to try and get his arch rivals off the fields in Columbus or if he was hoping to to squeeze in a workout with some fellow B1G football players. We may find out soon enough.
