Grip it and rip it (literally): Tom Brady’s brilliant chip-in shot leads to torn slacks

Tom Brady had the best shot of The Match on Sunday afternoon, but he might’ve also had the biggest blooper for the day.

On the 7th hole of the charity event, Brady was being heckled by former NBA star and TNT analyst Charles Barkley for starting the match off in rocky fashion. Not long after Barkley began heckling Brady, the six-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback knocked in an iron shot for the highlight of the event.

However, Brady’s big shot also led to some torn trousers. While he went to grab his golf ball out of the hole on the 7th green, the tear in Brady’s pants became quite visible.

Don’t worry, Brady finished the event with fresh pants.

Unfortunately for Brady and his teammate Phil Mickelson, that shot wasn’t enough to defeat Tiger Woods and Peyton Manning in the event. Despite a late surge from Brady and Mickelson, Manning and Woods went on to win the event by one hole.

Still, Brady will be leaving the course with the shot of the day and one less pair of pants.
