Michigan the lone B1G school to make Top 6 cut for 4-star DE, No. 1 player from Connecticut

The highest-ranked prospect out of the state of Connecticut has released his top six schools and Michigan is the lone B1G school to make the cut.
Tuesday night, four-star defensive end Kechaun Bennett revealed the six schools that he’s still considering. Michigan remains in consideration, along with Miami, Syracuse, Ole Miss, Cal and Notre Dame.
Bennett, who is ranked No. 329 overall in the 2021 recruiting class, made his announcement on Twitter. He narrowed his list down to six schools after receiving 18 offers.

Bennett is a 6-foot-4, 220-pound defensive lineman out of Suffield, Connecticut. In addition to be the top player from his home state, he’s also ranked as the No. 21 strong-side defensive end in the class.
Michigan’s 2021 recruiting class has come on strong as of late. Currently, the Wolverines rank seventh nationally and second in the B1G in the 247Sports recruiting rankings. Seven of their 15 verbal commits have a four- or five-star ranking.
