Incoming Ohio State transfer guard Seth Towns was detained by police on Friday night during a protest that occurred in Columbus. He was not arrested, according to reports.

Eleven Warriors shared footage of Towns being detained by police on Friday night during the protest. However, he was released and made it safely to his home, according to the report. Ohio State is aware of the incident but has not commented on the situation, according to 247Sports.

Below is the video posted from Eleven Warriors:

Towns committed to Ohio State earlier this spring after spending four years at Harvard. Towns did not compete the last two seasons due to injuries. But because of Ivy League rules, he was unable to compete at Harvard any longer, forcing him to find a new school for the upcoming season.

Towns will have two years of eligibility at Ohio State and can compete immediately.
