FOX Sports college football analysts rank their Top 5 QBs in 2020

There are a lot of really talented quarterbacks returning to the field in 2020. But who would be considered the five best in college football this fall? FOX Sports analysts attempted to answer that question.

Ohio State’s Justin Fields and Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence are both considered to be the two best gunslingers returning to the game this fall. Both are leaders in the Heisman Trophy race and expected to lead their teams to conference titles and another College Football Playoff appearance.

Unsurprisingly, Fields and Lawrence were the only two quarterbacks to receive first-place votes from the FOX analysts. Lawrence, however, appears to be the leader.

Urban Meyer, Joel Klatt, Matt Leinart, Brady Quinn and Rob Stone all believe Lawrence is the top quarterback in the game. All had Fields in the No. 2 spot. Reggie Bush was the only analyst to have Fields at No. 1 and Lawrence in the second spot.

Only one other B1G quarterback received recognition: Minnesota’s Tanner Morgan. Bush had Morgan listed as the No. 5 quarterback ahead of the 2020 season. Below is each analyst’s complete list:
