When the 2016 NFL draft finally kicks off in Chicago, the B1G will be represented well.

It was released that a total of six B1G stars will be in the green room in Chicago at Roosevelt University’s Auditorium Theatre. Five of those representatives are from Ohio State, which means that 20 percent of the invitees are Buckeyes. That tied the mark Alabama set in 2012 when it also had five players invited to the draft.

The only other B1G representative not from Ohio State will be Michigan State’s Jack Conklin, who is projected as a mid-first round pick. If he could do that, he’d be the third straight first-round pick for the Spartans.

Here’s the list in its entirety:

CB Eli Apple, Ohio State
DE Joey Bosa, Ohio State
DT Vernon Butler, Louisiana Tech
WR Corey Coleman, Baylor
OT Jack Conklin, Michigan State
OT Taylor Decker, Ohio State
WR Josh Doctson, Texas Christian
DE Kevin Dodd, Clemson
RB Ezekiel Elliott, Ohio State
QB Jared Goff, California
CB Vernon Hargreaves, Florida
LB Myles Jack, UCLA
DT Chris Jones, Mississippi State
DE Shaq Lawson, Clemson
LB Darron Lee, Ohio State
S Keanu Neal, Florida
DT Robert Nkemdiche, Mississippi
LB Reggie Ragland, Alabama
CB Jalen Ramsey, Florida State
DT Jarran Reed, Alabama
DT A’Shawn Robinson, Alabama
OT Ronnie Stanley, Notre Dame
WR Laquon Treadwell, Mississippi
OT Laremy Tunsil, Mississippi
QB Carson Wentz, North Dakota State

The draft will kick off on Thursday, April 28 at 8 p.m. ET on NFL Network. Rounds 2-3 will follow on Friday, April 29 and the draft will conclude with Rounds 4-7 on Saturday, April 30.

OSU might have five invitees, but some believe the Buckeyes can tie or break Miami (FL)’s record of six players selected in the first round. The Buckeyes already own the record for most players selected in an entire draft (14).

If the invite list is any indication, they’ll have a good chance to make that happen.
