Michigan Athletics releases latest COVID-19 test results

The University of Michigan’s athletic department has updated the school’s COVID-19 testing numbers.

On Friday, the school sent out an email detailing the total number of screenings, as well as the total number of positive results. So far, the totals have been quite promising in Ann Arbor.

A total of 375 COVID-19 tests have been administered to student-athletes who have returned to campus. Only four positive tests have been received. The school also stated that 139 staff members have been tested and none have been positive for the virus.

In total, the University of Michigan’s athletic department has conducted 514 COVID-19 tests and had four positive screenings.

The latest testing date came from July 6 and July 7, when 192 individuals were tested. Two tested positive in the most recent screenings.
