Ezekiel Elliott was an absolute stud at Ohio State.

He did remarkable things for the Buckeyes during the 2014 and 2015 regular seasons. In the team’s playoff run — that led to a national title — Elliott was seemingly unstoppable.

That play translated to the NFL very quickly. In his rookie year with the Dallas Cowboys, he rushed for over 1,600 yards and 15 touchdowns. Three years later however, in 2019, the Cowboys finished at a mediocre 8-8 overall annd Elliott didn’t seem to take over games like he once did.

When looking at numbers, some point in his favor. Others don’t.

With the Cowboys always being a topic of conversation when it comes to sports talk, multiple members of the media have questioned Zeke’s play. One running back rankings post even had one person rank Elliott outside of the top 10 backs of the NFL. That got the ball rolling.

On Thursday morning, Elliott had enough of it all. He went to Twitter and sent a series of messages regarding the media and his play on the field:

And a retweet from Elliott:

Again, Elliott’s had enough of all the chatter. What can change that, though?

By showing up on Sundays and proving the doubters wrong. We can only hope he gets the chance to do that this fall.
