Ohio State breaks spring game record for attendance

The Buckeyes announced that they did indeed hit the six-figure mark that they were shooting for in Saturday’s spring game. A team spokesman confirmed that the Buckeyes are not selling any more general admission tickets. Only students with an ID and fans with tickets will be allowed into the stadium.
They capped their pregame ticket sales at 92,500, according to Cleveland.com. The mark will break the Buckeyes’ record from last year, which saw 99,341 fans file into Ohio Stadium.
UPDATE: Team spokesman Jerry Emig announced that Ohio State set a spring game record with a crowd of 100,189.
