There will be just one traditional B1G rivalry game that’s held on the final weekend of the 2020 season.

On Wednesday morning, the B1G released its revised scheduled for the upcoming season, a 10-game, league-only slate. In order to preserve some of the league’s best rivalry games, the conference opted to rearrange the schedule a bit and move those contests around.

Michigan-Ohio State will be played on Oct. 24. Iowa-Nebraska and Wisconsin-Minnesota are set for Sept. 25. Illinois-Northwestern will be played on Oct. 17. But one game will be played on that last weekend of the season: Purdue-Indiana.

The Boilermakers and Hoosiers will battle for the Old Oaken Bucket on Saturday, Nov. 21, currently set as the last scheduled weekend of the football season in the B1G.

Purdue and Indiana have played 122 times on the gridiron, with Purdue owning a 74-42-6 lead in the all-time series. Indiana won last year’s matchup in West Lafayette 44-41 in double overtime.

This year’s game will be played in Bloomington, and will be the only rivalry matchup scheduled for that weekend.
