Multiple reports trickled out on Monday morning, stating that the B1G has decided to cancel its college football season for 2020. However, it appears that those reports might have been premature, as a league spokesperson has said no final decision has been made.
Early Monday, Dan Patrick reported that a source told him the B1G planned to cancel its season on Tuesday, as well as the Pac-12. Patrick also stated that a vote among presidents and chancellors in the conference resulted in a 12-2 tally that the football season should be cancelled.
However, Sean Callahan of Rivals.com reported that a B1G athletic director said that no vote has been taken among school presidents. Instead, the AD said that the 12-2 vote was among medical officials on campuses that were speaking with the B1G office.
Multiple reports said that a B1G spokesman said there has not been any vote yet and that there is no final decision at this time.

So, there’s still a glimmer of hope that the season will be played this fall. The B1G has yet to release an official statement.
