Over the last eight days, there’s been a lot of frustration among players, coaches and parents in the B1G. When the conference elected to postpone the fall season and try again in the spring, very little explanation was provided regarding the decision.

Recently, parents from numerous teams across the league have written and delivered letters to the B1G office, asking commissioner Kevin Warren to provide some answers. Michigan parents have recently drafted a letter, joining Iowa, Ohio State, Nebraska, Penn State and Illinois in the fight.

On Friday, several parents are planning to peacefully protest outside the B1G office in Chicago, hoping to get some answers. That movement has been led by Randy Wade, the father of Ohio State star defensive back Shaun Wade.

Michigan defensive lineman Carlo Kemp says he’s in support of the efforts from the parents across the league.

“They’re trying to get answers we want,” Kemp said, according to Angelique Chengelis of The Detroit News.

Warren went on Big Ten Network to make the announcement official on Tuesday, Aug. 11. However, it’s been eight days (and counting) since he last spoke publicly on the subject.

Many have expressed extreme frustration in the decision-making process, the lack of transparency and the failure in communication. We’ll see if these letters and protest leads to a response from Warren and the B1G presidents.
