Associated Press Preseason Poll: Despite no season, 6 B1G teams make Top 25
The 2020 college football season will not look the same.
While there are still six conferences that are trudging forward, hoping to safely and successfully complete a season, there are four leagues that have already backed down. The B1G, MAC, Mountain West and Pac-12 have already opted out of a fall season, and will instead look at playing football in the spring.

That leaves the AAC, ACC, Big 12, C-USA, SEC and Sun Belt left standing. And with the first game scheduled within the next few weeks, there appears to be legitimate hope that a season can be played this fall.
On Monday, with those six leagues still firmly positioned to start the season, the Associated Press released its preseason Top 25 rankings for the upcoming season. And yes, the initial poll will include teams from conferences that have already decided not to play.
Because of that approach, 6 B1G teams landed in the initial rankings. Ohio State was the highest-ranked team from the conference, coming in at No. 2.
