Michigan’s athletic department has provided its weekly update on COVID-19 testing.
Friday, the school released the latest results from the most recent round of administered tests. The latest screenings were done from Sept. 5 through Sept. 11 and 904 were conducted. A total of 12 tests returned positive results.
Student-athletes for all of Michigan’s athletic programs are back on campus. The results are not broken down by team.
Since student-athletes began returning to campus in Ann Arbor, Michigan has administered 4,585 tests with 58 positive results. Of that total, 3,966 tests were administered to student-athletes with 53 positive results. A total of 619 staff members and coaches have been tested with only 5 positives.
The B1G has postponed all fall sports, including football, until spring.
