There’s some good news on the NFL front as the league enters the first Sunday of action.

Sunday morning, NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport reported that all players and coaches passed their COVID-19 tests on Saturday, indicating that there shouldn’t be any issues with Week 1 games due to the virus. That’s significant news for a sport that many wondered if it could return safely.

Per Rapoport, all that’s left is for a stadium health check before games start.

The NFL season kicked off on Thursday night with the Houston Texans taking on the Kansas City Chiefs. Kansas City defeated Houston 34-20.

A total of 13 games will be played on Sunday. Two more games are scheduled for Monday Night Football.
