Fatal car accident claims life of father of former Wisconsin RB James White, mother in critical condition

An automobile accident claimed the life of the father of former Wisconsin running back James White, and has left his mother in critcial condition, according to multiple reports.
Sunday evening, Andy Slater of FOX Sports 640 reported that a fatal vehicle accident killed Tyrone White, who was a captain with the Miami-Dade Police Department. Lisa White is in critical condition as a result of the accident.
Sad news to report. Patriots' RB James White's father was in a car crash today and did not survive. His mother was also in the car and is in critical condition.
White's father, Tyrone, was a captain with the Miami-Dade Police Department.
James was told and is inactive tonight.

James, who is currently a member of the New England Patriots, did not play on Sunday night when the team took on the Seattle Seahawks.
The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel says that Patriots owner Robert Kraft offered to fly White back to Miami after learning of the accident. However, White decided to fly back home with the team following the game.
White was a member of the Wisconsin football team from 2010-13.
