The college basketball schedule is going to be a little different this year. Because of concerns over the pandemic, locations and dates of events have already been changed.

On Thursday, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reported that there’s now a target date for the 2020 Champions Classic, which will be played in Orlando. The target is set for Dec. 1. It was originally scheduled to be played at the United Center in Chicago in November.

It’s typically one of the first college basketball events of the season.

Featured matchups for the 2020 edition of the Champions Classic include Michigan State vs. Duke and Kentucky vs. Kansas. The same four teams have participated in the event every year since 2011.

Michigan State is 3-6 in the annual event, but has an 0-3 record against Duke. The Blue Devils have the best record of any team in the field, coming in at 6-3.
