ESPN’s College GameDay will be without another one of its popular analysts on set this week.

Friday, longtime analyst Kirk Herbstreit announced that he will be joining the College GameDay crew from his home in Nashville this week. He said he recently came into contact with the COVID-19 virus and will not be traveling with the crew to Miami for the showdown between Florida State and Miami.

It’s the first time Herbstreit has not joined the crew live and on set during the 2020 season.

Herbstreit said he tested negative for the virus but wants to continue to be as safe as possible and not potentially pass it on to others. Last week, GameDay announced it would be featuring Saturday’s rivalry game between the Seminoles and Hurricanes.

Lee Corso has been conducting shows from his home in Orlando all season due to the virus, as well.
