Down goes Oklahoma!
Despite trailing by 21 points multiple times in the first half, unranked Kansas State registered an incredible upset win over No. 3 Oklahoma, pulling off a 38-35 comeback victory in Norman. It marks the second-straight season the Wildcats have handed the Sooners a loss.
Oklahoma jumped out to an early 14-0 lead and led 35-14 late in the third quarter. But Kansas State scored 24 unanswered points, thanks in part to a blocked punt late in the game to knot the contest at 35. Then, with less than 5 minutes left in the game, Blake Lynch nailed a 50-yarder to give the Wildcats a three-point advantage.
That proved to be enough to get the win.

Quarterback Skylar Thompson completed 18-of-25 attempts for 334 yards and a touchdown for K-State, while also scoring three rushing touchdowns. Running back Deuce Vaughn had a huge day as well, totaling 129 receiving yards and 45 rushing yards on 12 total touches.
Oklahoma’s Spencer Rattler threw for 387 yards and 4 touchdowns but also had 3 interceptions.
There’s going to be quite a shake-up in the rankings on Sunday, especially with teams from the B1G and Pac-12 back in the mix.
