A lot of fans in the SEC may be just fine if they never have to hear former Purdue quarterback and longtime CBS broadcaster Gary Danielson call a game again. Based on the criticism he received over the weekend, his comments were not well received unless you’re a fan of Alabama.

Over the weekend, Danielson was with Brad Nessler to call the CBS Game of the Week, featuring No. 2 Alabama and No. 13 Texas A&M. Throughout the game, Danielson was getting crushed on social media for his “biased” analysis throughout the game, which apparently carried a heavy Crimson Tide lean.

Several went as far as to say that Danielson was rooting for Alabama to win the game — which it did, defeating A&M 52-24.
