B1G announces kickoff times, broadcast information for Week 1 games

After nearly a month of waiting, the B1G has officially revealed the kickoff times and broadcast information for the Week 1 schedule. The conference released the information on Monday morning.

The first week of the season will begin with a Friday night game on Oct. 23 between Illinois and Wisconsin. There will be six games on Saturday, Oct. 24, kicking off the first weekend of the nine-game, conference-only schedule.

Here’s a look at the kickoff times and broadcast networks for those games (all times ET):

Friday, Oct. 23

Illinois vs. Wisconsin – 8:00 p.m. (Big Ten Network)

Saturday, Oct. 24

Rutgers vs. Michigan State – 12:00 p.m. (Big Ten Network)

Nebraska vs. Ohio State – 12:00 p.m. (FOX)

Penn State vs. Indiana – 3:30 p.m. (FS1)

Iowa vs. Purdue – 3:30 p.m. (Big Ten Network)

Maryland vs. Northwestern – 7:30 p.m. (Big Ten Network)

Michigan vs. Minnesota – 7:30 p.m. (ABC)
