The SEC was able to get three weeks into the season without any significant issues. It appears that the first postponement is on the horizon, however.
On Monday, PowerMizzou.com reported that Saturday’s game between Vanderbilt and Missouri is expected to be postponed. It would be the first SEC game of the 2020 season to be canceled or delayed. A lack of available scholarship players appears to be the primary concern.
An official announcement is expected to come at any time.

Missouri was expected to host Vanderbilt this weekend for a 7:30 p.m. start time on SEC Network. It’s unclear when a make-up date will be scheduled. Both teams compete in the SEC East.
Last Saturday, Missouri had to alter its plans due to Hurricane Delta. Rather than travel to Baton Rouge, Mizzou hosted LSU on Saturday afternoon, which turned out to be beneficial. Mizzou defeated LSU 45-41 to get its first win of the season.
Vanderbilt is currently 0-3.
