There’s something about that No. 26 jersey at Penn State.
That was the number Saquon Barkley wore when he was wowing everyone in college football on a weekly basis. And it’s now the number that fresh,an running back Caziah Holmes is sporting as a Nittany Lions. And during a recent practice, Holmes looked an awful lot like Barkley.
Holmes went over the top in a drill, hurdling a defender, taking a hit and still landing on his feet and bolting for the end zone. Fortunately, Penn State’s video team captured the moment and shared it on social media.
Must be a #26 thing 👀

Just when you thought Penn State’s running back room couldn’t get any deeper. Holmes already looks like a special player.
Holmes was ranked as the No. 188 player in the 2020 recruiting class, regardless of position. The Florida native was also listed as the No. 5 all-purpose back of the cycle.
It’s only practice, but Holmes appears to be living up to that ranking early in his Penn State career.
