Ohio State loses top spot in ESPN FPI, 7 B1G teams land in Top 25

A dominant performance from Clemson over the weekend against Georgia Tech has catapulted the Tigers back to the top of ESPN’s Football Power Index (FPI) rankings, knocking Ohio State out of the top spot.

ESPN updated its FPI rankings on Sunday, following another week of the college football season. The Buckeyes still find themselves pretty high in the rankings, coming in at No. 2. Two other B1G teams cracked the top 10, with Wisconsin at No. 4 and Penn Stat in the No. 6 slot.

In total, seven B1G teams were ranked inside the top 25 this weekend. Here’s a look at ESPN FPI’s rankings (B1G in bold):
