In case the hype train hasn’t left the station in Ann Arbor yet, it might now.

After opening as a 15-1 favorite to win the national title, Michigan soared in the latest Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook odds. Michigan is all the way up to a 7-1 favorite, which is second to only reigning champion Alabama.

That’s quite the jump since the initial odds came out in January. That was before Michigan signed No. 1 overall recruit Rashan Gary and the rest of its top-six rated class. Since then, Michigan has been in the spotlight plenty with its off-campus spring break and satellite camp bonanza.

Ohio State also moved up since the opening odds came out. The Buckeyes are tied for second with two teams from last year’s College Football Playoff at 8-1. Michigan State was the only other B1G team to crack the list at No. 11, but the Spartans went from 20-1 to 30-1 odds.

In the early top 25 rankings, Michigan and Ohio State are consensus top-10 teams, though there is some disagreement on which one deserves to start the season as the B1G’s favorite.

Here’s where each team came in:

  • Alabama, 6-1 open, 6-1 current
  • Michigan, 15-1, 7-1
  • Oklahoma, 7-1, 8-1
  • Clemson, 7-1, 8-1
  • Ohio State, 10-1, 8-1
  • Florida State, 15-1, 12-1
  • Baylor, 12-1, 15-1
  • Notre Dame, 15-1, 15-1
  • Tennessee, 15-1, 15-1
  • LSU, 15-1, 15-1
  • Michigan State, 20-1, 30-1
  • Ole Miss, 20-1, 30-1
  • Stanford, 20-1, 30-1
  • UCLA, 30-1, 30-1
  • Georgia, 30-1, 30-1
  • Auburn, 30-1, 30-1
  • Washington, 40-1, 40-1

  • TCU, 30-1, 50-1
  • Oregon, 40-1, 50-1
  • Louisville, 60-1, 60-1
