In case you didn’t know, Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields started his college career in the SEC with the Georgia Bulldogs.

It’s hard to believe watching Fields torch the B1G, but he was once the backup quarterback to Jake Fromm during Fields’ lone season in Athens. At that point, Fields was a freshman who was used sparingly with Fromm serving as the starter all season long.

After the 2018 season, Fields transferred to Columbus and never looked back. He finished last season as a Heisman finalist and is off to a blazing start to 2020. Fields started a perfect 11-for-11 throwing the ball for 176 yards and a touchdown while adding 43 yards on the ground.

As Fields continue to do work with the Buckeyes, many SEC fans are left wondering what could have happened had Fields stayed in Athens:
