Heading into Saturday night’s showdown between Minnesota and Michigan, one of the biggest talkers on the Wolverine sideline was how Joe Milton would play in his first start as Michigan’s quarterback.
The Wolverine quarterback answered any questions in a dominant 49-24 win as he threw for 225 yards and a touchdown while running for 52 yards in a touchdown.
Of Michigan’s seven touchdowns, six came via the offense led by Milton. That unit finished with nearly 500 total yards.
While there was plenty of hype surrounding Milton and skill players such as Hassan Haskins and Ronnie Bell, Michigan’s man under center was quick to praise his offensive line.
