The first weekend of the B1G season provided plenty of excitement.
We’re just one week into the year, and we’ve already seen two ranked teams go down. No. 8 Penn State was upended in a thrilling overtime game by Indiana, with the Hoosiers scoring on a 2-point conversion to post a 36-35 victory.
No. 18 Michigan had little trouble on the road with No. 21 Minnesota, pummeling the Gophers 49-24 to open the season. The B1G’s remaining ranked teams — No. 5 Ohio State and No. 14 Wisconsin — cruised to victories.
