When the Carolina Panthers notched their third win of the season in a 23-16 win over the Atlanta Falcons two weeks back, former Maryland standout DJ Moore had a breakout game catching four passes for 93 yards, including his first touchdown of the season with an electric 57-yard touchdown that displayed Moore’s lightning speed.
Moore had another 93-yard day in the Panthers loss to the Chicago Bears the following week but didn’t find the end zone. Fortunately, the lull didn’t last long.
With 11:00 minutes to go in the 2nd quarter of Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints, Panthers quarterback Teddy Bridgewater hit Moore with a strike at the Saints 35-yard line to complete a 74-yard touchdown to pull the Panthers to within four.

Shortly before the half, Bridgewater and Moore again connected for a 7-yard touchdown to put the Panthers up 17-14. It is awesome to see Moore having such success at the next level after his time with the Terrapins.
